Microbrew is a versatile retro display family with 14 individual styles, plus retro banners, ornaments, and symbols. It’s a nice mix between wood type poster style, and vintage letterpress.

The more detailed styles work well at large sizes, and the cleaner styles add legibility at smaller sizes.

Microbrew is an all caps display font, but the lowercase act as alternates.

For super-easy alternates, just mix uppercase and lowercase letters. To add to the realism, Microbrew includes double-letter ligatures. Microbrew also includes a set of extremely intentional ornaments and symbols.

Designed to give a vintage feel, the ornaments and symbols compliment Microbrew nicely to round off the family. The ornaments also include catchwords, old style numbers, and lots of retro symbols.

This family includes four fonts, the original MFC Chaplet Monogram, and MFC Chaplet Solid Monogram, MFC Chaplet Stencil Monogram and MFC Chaplet Chroma Monogram.

Chaplet Solid and Chaplet Stencil can be used alone or combined with the outline version. Chaplet Chroma is intended to be used with the outline or solid font to build chromatic monograms.

MFC Capulet Monogram utilizes OpenType features that enable you to create more complex monograms, so what began originally as two sets of 26 roman letters grew to an astounding 735 character font in order to create a unique interwoven monogram effect! More…

Capulet Monogram can create one, two, or three letter monograms as well as a unique two letter intertwined monogram style - made by simply typing a lowercase immediately followed by a Capital (using OpenType Ligatures).

Letterforms combine to make elegant monograms like designer branding, and you can also choose to type in all capitals or all lowercase for simple title and headlines as well. (Note that due to the manner in which combination monograms are formed, some letters like the I will change to script-like forms to avoid being hidden in overlaps).
