Tamiami JNL is based on a popular old typeface from the early 1900s, best known as “Cuba”.
90 miles Northwest of that tropical island is Miami, Florida... and the Tamiami Trail was one of the first connecting routes between the City of Tampa on the West coast of Florida and Miami on the East coast - hence the conjunction “Tamiami”.
Based on the original design of Nicholas Jenson 1470-76, this is a revival of one of the popular wooden type fonts of the 19th century.
This font was also created in a slightly different version by William Morris circa 1890.

Experimentation with different design tools is leading British calligrapher Tim Donaldson’s forte. Flight, named for its free-flowing lines that convey a freedom of movement like birds on the wing, was originally rendered in pencil using a quick sketching technique.

ArcticPatrol is a modern angular font influenced by military related computer games.

Royal, majestic, elegant. These letters are based on Roman and Greek characters carved on stone. They come in 3 different styles. Normal and Shaded are designed to have serifs with a finer thinning.
On the other hand, Metallic is bolder and simulates in the most realistic way three-dimensional metallic lettering. There are some alternate characters placed at lowercase positions as well as a few stylistic alternates which are accessed through the OpenType features.
