Stained Glass Font Download

Stained Glass can be used to created multi-layted effects reminiscent of stained glass.

A basic sans serif letterform was used to create the impression of broken glass in this unique typeface. Shatter is a long-time favorite of users of Letraset type products and is now available in the Fontek range by popular request.

P22 Bastyan Font Download

P22 Bastyan is a hybrid Italic Blackletter.

This typeface resembles Carolingian miniscule scripts and has a timelessness that evokes formality but defies specific historical categorization.

It is available in an optional Opentype “Pro” version with CE language support, multiple styles of figures, ornaments & ligatures.

Willard T. Sniffin designed this extra condensed art deco typeface for American Type Founders in 1932.

Low-waisted capital letters curve in stunning geometric fashion next to large, oversized lowercase letters.

The heart of this classic design is undeniably 1930s but it also looks just fine in contemporary situations. Many of the original alternate characters plus a few new ones have been included in this complete digital version.

These advanced features currently work in Adobe Creative Suite InDesign and Illustrator. Check for OpenType advanced feature support in other applications as it gradually becomes available with upgrades.

Legendary lettering artist Alf Becker called his original offering “Aristocrat”; this version is a little less pretentious, but still suitably snooty. Graceful and elegant, but with a few amusing turns.

Both versions of this font contain the complete Latin 1252 and Central European 1250 character sets.

Wirey is an uppercase hand drawn font inspired by bent copper wires. It is designed for headers, titles and posters where fonts need to be big and unique. Wirey is styled in a way that looks hand drawn but also keeps a simple, professional element within it.

Sporting a uniform upward slope in the letterforms, Diagond is a contemporary decorative/display typeface with hints of the seventies and Art-Nouveau. The font contains some alternative lower-case glyphs, as well as ligatures, and East European, Turkish and Baltic languages support.

Lenorah JNL is a block-like design with spur serifs and is one of a number of wood type revivals by Jeff Levine.

Gaheris is a decorative font in the same tradition as our Goddard and Ganelon fonts, but with a somewhat more calligraphic look.

It is suitable for use as a text or title font, but has some characteristics of a script font, which gives it an unusual and appealing appearance.

It’s based on early 20th century advertising type of a style which you don't see much any more, but which deserves to be preserved.

Jacob Riley is based on antique 18th century printers’ specimens and has been hand-illustrated with calligraphy nibs dipped in walnut ink. A goodly fellow, Jacob delights in uses varied and sundry including personal correspondence, rustic decor, graphic display and even amongst the pages of children’s books.

The inspiration source for Bijou Monogram is a cameo alphabet (capitals only) from a vintage embroidery publication. This unique design has been redrawn and expanded to include smallcaps, numerals, dividers, and complimentary bracketing designs for your typesetting use and enjoyment.

Bijou Monogram supports one, two, three letter monograms, and numbered monograms (allowing commemoration, memorial, and other styles of labeling).

Jazm is an Arabetic typeface design with connected glyphs.

Jazm was the earliest, pre-Islamic, script style of the modern Arabic script, before branching into Kufi and Naskh styles. The initial script had a lot less, position-dependent shapes and ligatures, and was not strictly connected.

It occasionally included minuscule dots to distinguish identical shapes. More…

It includes all required Lam-Alif ligatures and selected marks. Tatweel (or Kashida) glyph is a zero width space. Keying it before any glyph will display that glyph isolated form, if desired.

Keying Tatweel before Alif Lam Lam Ha will display the Allah ligature. Jazm typeface family includes both Arabic and Arabic-Indic numerals; all required diacritic marks, in addition to Standard English keyboard punctuations and major currency symbols.

Pinion Display is a modern decorative typeface that is constructed using simplified mechanical ornaments blended with irregular curves and flared serifs. The result is a font with the consistent rhythm of a sans-serif and a touch of historical charm.

The goal of Pinion Display was to create a modern decorative face that is constructed as if using industrial techniques.

Characters were fabricated, rather than drawn, by joining together a variety of components. Proportions and curved forms were then fine-tuned to achieve balance and approachability when characters are combined into words.

Finally, capitals without ornaments and small caps were added to make the typeface more versatile.

A light hearted unicase typeface inspired by the titling of the 1977 Pink Panther cartoon, Therapeutic Pink.

Make room for Brogado JNL!

This bold, yet squat slab serif font takes command when set into headlines.

Although not thoroughly in the Western mold, Brogado JNL can still exude enough macho appeal to make its point strongly, yet clearly.

The Art Nouveau styles of the the turn of the 20th century (1890 - 1905) exhibited a bold approach to organic lines and lavish decoration. This new style was spread throughout the world and helped usher in a new era that led to modern art and design.

Art Nouveau SCF is strongly influenced by the style of decoration and typography created by Rennie Mackintosh as well as the Art Nouveau movement in general (with particular reference to Gustave Klimt and Alphonse Mucha).

However, it differs from much of the art nouveau typography in that it largely avoids the use of straight lines in its letter forms.

It is a decorative, romantic font and its subtly curved bolder lines contrast with delicate tracery to create an intricate pattern of organic flowing shapes.

AZ Hello Brushed font was inspired from old auto repair signs.

This font utilizes an “old look” to the line work which is designed to have a “worn feel” to it. It is designed to compliment it’s sister font; AZ Hello.

Ideal for use as headline or sub-head text in you design.

Winnetka JNL was inspired by Cooley Antique Tuscan Condensed - a printer’s wood type manufactured in 1859 by J.G. Cooley.

Given an additional hand-made treatment, the lettering resembles characters made from cut paper.

A hodgepodge of hand lettering... Hodgepodge Handlettered is the sister font to Hodgepodge.

Limehouse Script Font Download

This striking, informal upright script style reveals a combination of brush letter and handwriting influence. British lettering designer Alan Meeks created the capitals for use with the lower case letters, and a joining facility is included in many of the characters.

Limehouse Script is a current display face with a wide variety of uses.

Courier is a monospaced typeface for use in tabular material, technical documentation, and word processing. It was designed in the mid-1900s by Howard Kettler of IBM as a typewriter face, and was later redrawn by Adrian Frutiger for the IBM Selectric series.

Inspired by retro lettering on advertising and propaganda posters from the 30s to 50s.

Patron is a modern, mono-linear, sans-serif font family with large x-height and softened edges containing 12 fonts.

This typeface was born as a corporate font design for non-profit sector and today it is available for public.

At the moment Patron is offered as a PostScript-flavored OTF, but its construction is tuned to display well on screen as well. Works on a TrueType version with individual glyph hinting are being carried out.

Way back in the 1990s, the fatter the fast food generation got, the more condensed letters became.

I figured when the taste in fonts started to mirror the contemporary bodily norm, Hunky Chunk should be there.

Here it is.

Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s artwork has an art deco feel that has been reproduced on fabrics, jewellery and all sorts of household items.

Now, with this font, you can add Mackintosh icons and letter tiles with just the touch of a key.

"A capital titling face with numerals, erroneously labelled in Figgins specimen book of 1817 as an ‘antique’ or roman. With a very bold, nearly monoline construction and squared serifs as thick as the main stroke, this type surpassed even the fat face style in blackness, it was popularised by the advent of handbills and early advertising posters, which needed bold type styles to project commercial messages from a distance.

A sign-writer friend of mine theorises that the Egyptian style originated with the North African campaigns (hence Egyptian) of Napoleon Bonaparte, and the type historian Ruari McLean also suggests that the Egyptian style originated with signwriters ‘block’ letters, just like the prototypical (and contemporary) sans serif of Caslon IV." I started creating this font at my university while studying graphic design.

It’s constructed using nails in different sizes and various parts of floppy-disks. It’s a highly decorative font and the best way of using it is for posters, flyers and ads.

It can also be used for your own website; see example below.

Antique Tuscan No.9 was one of the earlier wood-type designs by William Hamilton Page. It was first shown among the specimens produced in 1859, shortly after Page entered into a new partnership with Samuel Mowry, owner of the Mowry Axle Company.

Because of the extreme compression in the design, we might be tempted to describe it as "Triple-X," but that might be misleading. The analogy would, of course, be to clothing sizes, not movie ratings.

Because of the compression, this typeface reads best when set extra-extra-extra large. For printing, we recommend 36 points or larger. For the screen, we suggest at least 72 points. An unusual and distinctive design, it is best used with discretion.

If I were doing a term paper for school or submitting an article to a magazine for publication, I might use it for the title page, to grab someone’s attention. I would certainly not use it for the main body of text - not if I expected anyone to read what I wrote.

If you wonder why we make this recommendation, take the Ten-Point challenge. Print this paragraph using Antique Tuscan No.9 and set the font size at 10 points. If you are young and blessed with good eyesight, you will probably be able to read it - with effort.

So, here is the challenge: hand it to your Grandmother and ask HER to read it.
